  • Overview

    The consultant will work with the Human Resources department to analyze, design and propose a revised Performance Management methodology, policy, and procedure. Consultant will ensure effective assessment, development and implementation of performance management program, inclusive of design and of assessment tools, training and post-implementation review.  Provides assessment consultation to Human Resources team and other internal stakeholders.

     

    This role will be temporary and can be contract, PRN, part time or full time. Role will telecommute.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties  

    • Strategically assesses the effectiveness of current performance management program in achieving organizational objectives; identifies best practices and benchmarks; and develops recommendations for modifications to align to HR strategy and business goals.
    • Conducts assessments and gap analysis on current performance management program and business needs based on program-specific differences and requirements
    • Designs and proposes program strategy and scope, ensuring quality, timeliness and effectiveness of deliverables based on business intent and purpose. Carries out stakeholder analysis and manages project expectations regarding project objectives, status and milestones. Ensures integration of processes, tools, and training with other HR programs/operations and ADP Workforce Now capabilities.
    • Designs evaluation tool for individual contributors, managers and executives that supports the full spectrum of performance management activities, including goal-setting, mid-year and year-end evaluations, and calibration
    • Oversees the development and implementation of agency core competencies, core values, and key performance measures into performance management program and processes.
    • Implements communication, change management and sustainability plans spanning the full project life cycle to support the effective deployment of new initiatives, processes and tools.
    • Partners with key Human Resources members on the development and implementation of assessment solutions that are embedded within training programs. Conducts studies to measure the effectiveness of assessments, and make adjustments as necessary.
    • Develops and conducts presentations and training to agency management and staff on the performance management tool and process.
    • Provides training to all levels of staff on performance management and systems.
    • Develops competency models and tools to define and assist leadership/functional competencies required to support the execution of business.
    • Act as SME on ADP Workforce Now as it relates to Performance Reviews in Talent function. Inclusive of design of tools, implementation and training.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5 years dedicated Performance Management project oversight, design and implementation
    • 2 years’ experience at an advanced level of ADP Workforce Now as it relates to Performance Reviews in Talent function
    • Demonstrated success partnering with HR stakeholders and line leaders to design and implement assessment solutions
    • Demonstrated experience providing individual assessment and coaching
    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Requires proven success setting direction, developing others and as a business partner
    • Strong interpersonal, consultative, relationship building and conflict management skills in order to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnership with all levels of leadership across the organization
    • Strong business acumen required. Requires strong vendor and project management experience
