Your Mission in Action

The Community Partnerships Director plays a vital role in strengthening relationships between Upbring and the communities we serve. This position works closely with local organizations, businesses, and government agencies to understand community needs and develop partnerships that enhance child and family wellbeing. As a liaison, advocate, and resource, the Community Partnerships Director leads engagement efforts that foster collaboration, increase access to essential services, and create a more connected, supportive community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with community members, local businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations to enhance support for children and families. 
  • Act as a bridge between the organization and the community, organizing and participating in outreach events to promote awareness and engagement. 
  • Develop and execute community engagement strategies that align with Upbring's mission and vision. 
  • Work with internal teams to create and launch impactful programs that support child wellbeing and community development.
  • Engage with community members directly through surveys and conversations to understand needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Analyze feedback and data to design targeted community service programs that address key issues.
  • Coordinate logistics, resources, and volunteers for programs and events that bring real change to the community.
  • Lead workshops, seminars, and outreach efforts to educate and connect community members with the support they need.
  • Develop informational materials and campaigns to raise awareness about programs, resources, and services.
  • Be a trusted guide and resource for community members, helping them access vital services such as social support, healthcare, education and other essential programs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Community Development, or related field: and/or a combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree
  • Three (3) years of experience in community management or a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience with event planning and management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Communications, Business, Community Development, or related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in community management or a similar role
  • Knowledge of community resources, social services, and government programs

Travel

  • This position may be required to travel up to 25%

  • This position requires sitting and looking and using a computer for long periods of time
  • Position may have exposure to children
  • Position requires frequent standing, walking and time being mobile to coordinate events
