Upbring is looking for a Talent Sourcing Specialist to proactively identify, attract, and engage top-tier talent for our growing organization. You’ll own the sourcing game—leveraging platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed while crafting outreach campaigns that make candidates take notice.

Your Mission in Action

The Talent Sourcing Specialist proactively identifies and engages top talent through various sourcing channels, including job boards, networking, and referrals. They build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs, with an emphasis on hard-to-fill positions. Utilizing advanced search techniques such as Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed, they identify passive candidates and ensure alignment with job requirements. By leveraging data insights and recruitment technology, this specialist plays a key role in optimizing sourcing strategies and driving hiring success.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for top talent! Use Boolean search techniques, job boards, networking, and referrals to identify and connect with active and passive candidates
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines for both immediate hiring needs and future opportunities, with a focus on hard-to-fill positions
  • Analyze sourcing effectiveness and adjust strategies to optimize results and improve hiring outcomes
  • Create and execute personalized outreach campaigns that get responses and keep candidates engaged
  • Screen candidate profiles and resumes to assess qualifications and ensure alignment with job requirements
  • Leverage Candidate Experience Management software to keep candidates engaged, provide job search updates, and proactively reach out to passive talent for future opportunities
  • Be a brand ambassador! Represent Upbring at job fairs and networking events to attract top talent
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and an inclusive hiring approach

You’re a strategic and resourceful sourcer who knows how to navigate various platforms, tools, and networks to connect with top talent. You stay ahead of trends, use data-driven insights to refine sourcing strategies, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Your ability to build strong pipelines, engage candidates with compelling outreach, and enhance the hiring process makes you a valuable asset to any recruiting team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field. Equivalent experience in human resources, recruitment, sourcing, or talent acquisition may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of focused sourcing experience across various industries and functions
  • Strong knowledge of Boolean search techniques, social media sourcing, and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Experience using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, and niche job boards to attract talent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage candidates effectively

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, executive search, or agency recruiting
  • Current professional HR certification issued by HRCI (PHR or SPHR) or SHRM (RACR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP), or AIRS (ACIR, TCR,CSMR)
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking/writing

Physical Demands & Work Conditions

 

  • This position requires sitting and looking and using a computer for long periods of time
  • Position can require visits to a child facility and will have exposure to children
  • Position requires frequent standing, walking and occasional travel that requires hours of mobility
  • Lift, push, pull, move up to 25 lbs.
