What You'll Do

The Communications Intern will support the Communications Team in the creation and design of multimedia assets—including graphics, videos, and social media content—to elevate Upbring’s storytelling and increase engagement across internal and external platforms. This role is ideal for a creative individual eager to grow their portfolio while contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design a range of visual content—including infographics, GIFs, and other digital assets—that align with Upbring’s brand guidelines and support storytelling efforts
  • Edit and finalize multimedia content including short-form videos, video clips and photos for use across social media, internal campaigns and events
  • Help maintain and organize multimedia asset libraries (e.g., images, B-roll, logos)
  • Collaborate with the Communications Team to brainstorm creative campaign ideas
  • Other duties or projects as assigned  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Production, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or similar)
  • Basic video editing and graphic design skills
  • Creative mindset with strong visual storytelling instincts
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven team

Physical Demands & Work Conditions

  • This position requires sitting and looking and using a computer for long periods of time
  • Position may have exposure to children 
  • Lift, push, pull, move up to 25 lbs.
