Your Mission in Action
The Program Trainer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, Child Care Minimum Standards, and funding requirements. This role includes administering pre- and post-assessments, managing training records, and supporting new employee orientation. The Program Trainer collaborates with leadership to design and implement professional development initiatives, track staff certifications, and provide ongoing training support. Additionally, this position ensures all employees meet required training standards, including CPR/First Aid certification, and maintains accurate documentation to support program compliance and staff development. The Program Trainer delivers new employee orientation, annual mandatory training, and supplemental training for employees, contractors, and volunteers. The Program Trainer provides instruction on a range of training topics while assisting in the implementation of a comprehensive training plan that aligns with federal requirements and state licensing regulations. This role fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional development while ensuring high-quality training standards.
