Our children’s centers, operated through a grant from the Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR), provide safety, stability and wraparound services. We help children grow into adults who have received love and kindness, instead of only violence and chaos.   What You'll Do as a Compliance File Clerk The Compliance/File Clerk is responsible for filing and auditing UC case files, entering and maintaining information and data into the information systems, maintaining well organized files in accordance with program filing and record-keeping standards in accordance with the Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR) standards, Agency, and licensing standards, and other federal, state, CARF and local regulatory requirements. These courageous young women are between the ages of 11-17, and they begin to grow and heal through in-depth clinical therapy, personal development activities and spiritual care in a safe setting.   Girls stay an average of six to eight months and begin to feel a restored sense of hope in their futures – thanks to the support of New Life’s staff and therapists specializing in Trauma-Informed Care. Often during the healing process, girls discover special interests and talents and begin to live a healthy lifestyle. Many girls are either reunited with biological family or connected with a loving foster family after living at New Life.     What You'll Do The Case Manager Aide is responsible for providing administrative support to the medical department to ensure services are provided to the youth in a timely manner. In 2021 we served 1,176 children, verified 140 new families, and connected 113 children with loving adoptive families. The Upbring heroes on our foster care team connect children with families who provide compassion, safety and support, and when needed, loving forever families.     What You'll Do The primary duty of the Administrative Assistant is to provide receptionist and secretarial duties for the Foster in Texas (FIT) team, such as answering the telephone, filing, basic bookkeeping, and office management.      Our Upbring staff members are servant-leaders on the pursuit of breaking the cycle of child abuse and empowering others to do the same through example while embodying our core values: We are Warriors. The families receive support and services to complement the child’s education as the kindergarten transition nears.   What You'll Do Education Coaches assist Center Directors, Principals, and Teachers with implementing Early Head Start/Head Start educational programming in accordance with State Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) regulations, the Head Start Performance Standards, Child Care Licensing, the Agency’s school readiness goals, and other federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Education Coaches provide coaching, reflection, training, and technical assistance to Head Start classroom teachers and teacher assistants. They support students' social-emotional development aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcome Framework by providing high-quality coaching, guided reflection, training, and technical assistance.   Our Upbring staff members are servant-leaders on the pursuit of breaking the cycle of child abuse and empowering others to do the same through example while embodying our core values: We are Warriors.
