Instead of playing pretend and imagining grand adventures, unaccompanied children face perilous conditions alone as they travel to unfamiliar countries, leaving home and loved ones behind to escape war and violence. Our children’s centers, operated through a grant from the Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR), provide safety, stability and wraparound services. We help children grow into adults who have received love and kindness, instead of only violence and chaos.   What You'll Do As A Lead Clinician The Lead Clinician is responsible for the overall clinical operations, administration, and management of the clinical services for Unaccompanied Children. The Lead Clinician is responsible for designing treatment protocols and plans, assessments, conducting utilization review, and evaluation of the program and services after discharge or placement in accordance with Agency policies and procedures, licensing standards, and federal, state, CARF, and local regulatory agencies.   Our Upbring staff members are servant-leaders in the pursuit of breaking the cycle of child abuse and empowering others to do the same through example while embodying our core values: We are Warriors. These courageous young women are between the ages of 11-17, and they begin to grow and heal through in-depth clinical therapy, personal development activities and spiritual care in a safe setting.   Girls stay an average of six to eight months and begin to feel a restored sense of hope in their futures – thanks to the support of New Life’s staff and therapists specializing in Trauma-Informed Care. Often during the healing process, girls discover special interests and talents and begin to live a healthy lifestyle. Many girls are either reunited with biological family or connected with a loving foster family after living at New Life.   What You'll Do as a Housekeeper The housekeeper is responsible for performing housekeeping duties throughout the facility/building to create a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for the children and the staff.   The overall goal is to maintain and create an inviting environment for the children, families, and staff.  Our Upbring staff members are servant-leaders on the pursuit of breaking the cycle of child abuse and empowering others to do the same through example while embodying our core values: We are Warriors. In addition to managing shift transitions, the Manager on Duty provides support to all three shifts daily during shift changes from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd shifts. The Manager on Duty oversees and manages residential support staff, ensures quality care and treatment for all youth, and promotes the highest level of mental, physical, and psychological well-being of youth in accordance with Agency and licensing standards and other federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Instead of playing pretend and imagining grand adventures, unaccompanied children face perilous conditions alone as they travel to unfamiliar countries, leaving home and loved ones behind to escape war and violence. Our children’s centers, operated through a grant from the Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR), provide safety, stability and wraparound services. We help children grow into adults who have received love and kindness, instead of only violence and chaos.   What You'll Do As A Safety Monitor The Safety Monitor position provides a system of accountability and continuous supervision of the site population by monitoring all cameras on site.  Reports anything suspicious, anything that violates policies and procedures that may cause harm to someone else and ensures the safety of all Unaccompanied Children (UC) and staff.  Our Upbring staff members are servant-leaders in the pursuit of breaking the cycle of child abuse and empowering others to do the same through example while embodying our core values: We are Warriors. We are Family.     3rd Shift   All Upbring Children's Shelters employees must comply with ORR's vaccination mandate.  All staff must be able to show proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route if working directly with unaccompanied children (UC). Medical and Religious exemptions may be requested after an offer of employment is accepted.

We help children grow into adults who have received love and kindness, instead of only violence and chaos.   What You'll Do as a Compliance File Clerk The Compliance/File Clerk is responsible for filing and auditing UC case files, entering and maintaining information and data into the information systems, maintaining well organized files in accordance with program filing and record-keeping standards in accordance with the Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR) standards, Agency, and licensing standards, and other federal, state, CARF and local regulatory requirements.
