Many girls are either reunited with biological family or connected with a loving foster family after living at New Life.   What You'll Do The Behavior Support Specialist’s primary role is to collaborate with the interdisciplinary and treatment teams to provide behavioral and academic support for youth experiencing varying diagnoses and/or special needs in the classroom using skills, knowledge, and best practices to create a nurturing, positive, proactive, and innovative approach to behavior support that stresses skill development, academic success, and life skills. The Behavior Support Specialist also provides support services to youth outside the classroom and while they remain on campus, counted within ratio and in the capacity of direct care services.
